She's been here for a few months now and she has yet to eat a decent cheesecake. Although this was of no importance to anyone else, it was of great importance to her; seeing as the cheesecake was her absolutely favorite dish. Well, if you sit aside italian food. Shin had stroke up a conversation with some lady who seemed to be intent on telling her about how much she reminded him of her grandson. Obviously the woman thought she was a boy, wasn't the first time someone thought that to be so. Anyway, she had managed to ask the lady where she could sit and eat pastries. She mentioned the Moo Moo Cafe. A place Shin has only walked by, their coffee beans could be smelled a few large steps outside their door. The scent was definitely attractive to the nose.
Shin thought it would be fine if she were to drop down there in her spare time. She had to go early though, seeing as she had tons of work to do tonight, it being Saturday and all. The tomboy pushed open the door and quickly made her way to the counter, skipping someone who was also on their way over there but was too slow to react. "Yo!" She called out, making sure she was loud enough for the person to hear her. The cashier turned around and approached her with a cheap smile on his face. "Do you serve cheesecake here?" She asked curiously. The cashier pointed up to the menu and nodded. A light grin appeared on her face and just as fast as it came, it disappeared. "Send your best strawberry cheesecake over to that table please" She demanded, pointing back to an empty table in which she selected out for herself from afar, but ending with please just meant she was being nice about it. The cashier nodded and moved on.
Shin too made her way to the empty table, sitting down in the chair and folding her legs in a pretzel style. Back home they would sit on the floor and fold their legs, so Shin still had a habit at folding her legs every time she sat down. The girl leaned on the table and yawned, awaiting to be served her strawberry cheesecake. To entertain herself, she'd tap on the table impatiently.
