scotty is what you'd call a crossdresser. while he is technically a male, he sometimes fluctuates between calling himself a girl or boy and wears almost strictly feminine clothing. from an early age scotty knew he liked boys more than girls, despite being practically brainwashed into the thinking that he HAD to marry a pretty girl and have kids and all that crap. so at around the age of fourteen he decided enough was enough and told his parents he was gay. they swiftly grew uncomfortable around the boy and shunned him for the most part, but the last straw was when they noticed him starting to wear more and more female clothes. at that point, his god-fearing parents sent him to this boarding school just to get him out of their house and quit sinning the place up.
this broke his poor little heart, but he soon recovered from that at the realization that his parents simply would not accept him how he was. he soon started to grow from the normally shy and reclusive person into a flamboyant and happy man. he's known for partying and generally goofing off in about any situation. rarely does he take mean comments seriously now; they are usually transformed into a joke and just brushed off. he loves any sort of lizards or reptiles, and has a baby pet boa named wedgie (yes, really). he's not afraid to try anything, and takes most dares willingly and with gusto. as far as he knows, no one has found out that he's actually a guy since his arrival here. that's how he likes it.
