tilly is rather quiet and reserved, and rarely starts a conversation with someone unless they've spoken a few times before. she can be naive and impressionable, and always manages to stay rather innocent. for her, drugs, drinking and other such things are a scary part of the world, and she absolutely refuses to get involved in it at all. the most alcoholic thing she'd even dare to taste is wine, and that's because she had to drink it at all her parent's "parties." they conditioned her from birth to be a perfect little angel and she plays the part well. deep down, she’d like to be more social but tilly always manages to find some way to talk herself out of it. children should be seen and not heard was a common thing in her household before her aunt was found to have accumulated large sums of money. at that point her money-grubbing parents talked the old women into taking tilly in to live with her in california. this maneuver was done in the hopes of the girl inheriting her aunt’s money once the woman dies; unbeknownst to tilly, of course.
